Job and Work Design

Organisations often focus on individual performance or team performance without examining the context within which individuals are working. Closer examination of the job and work characteristics of employees can indicate process changes, environmental changes, and management changes that will bring about enhanced performance and employee well-being.

Increased litigation due to stressors at work has focused organisations more closely on the issue of work design, risk assessment and employee health. Just Development work with clients to assess  work design risks and employee well-being.

Just Development have developed a series of workshops designed to coach individuals to understand and cope with the stressors they experience internally and external to the workplace.

Just Development have worked within the field of job design and employee well-being for a number of years. One of the founding partners of Just Development was involved in the initial research commissioned by the Health and Safety Executive to examine psychosocial stressors in the workplace.
